Bubbler is a mildly amusing little time waster. It creates a never ending stream of bubbles. The bubbles always go up as you move and tilt the device. If you lay it flat they come toward you and if you hold it upside down and look up at it, they go away from you. You can move the source point of the bubbles by tapping or dragging on the screen. The preferences let you choose the size and speed of the bubbles, whether they are filled in or hollow and the maximum number of bubbles. Note that the application can become unresponsive if the maximum is set too high for your device. Just hit the home button if this happens and start again. Currently we use Quartz for the drawing and it's not very fast. A future version will use OpenGL. It's a very simple little app but it can be rather amusing when you have a few minutes to kill. Children love it, too.
Requires iOS 3.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
